Exchange & Returns Policy

  1. Policy Overview

  2. At PerfumeGold UK, we are dedicated to ensuring our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. We offer a straightforward exchange and return policy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 in the United Kingdom.

  3. Cancellations:

    1. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the goods.
    2. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by a clear statement, using any method found https://perfumegold.co.uk/index.php?route=information/contact. Please ensure that you receive confirmation from us regarding your cancellation notice.
    3. If you received any items, you must return all items in original packaging, sealed and pristine conditions.
    4. If any items are opened, unfortunately, we are unable offer a refund.  In such case, at our discretion, we may exchange it for something else of your choice and in similar value.
    5. Customer will be liable for cost of postage in any case and liability of the goods until goods are received by our retrurn handling team.
  4. Returns:

    1. Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you received your purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
    2. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and must be in the original packaging. Additionally, we cannot accept returns of items that have been opened or used, unless they are defective
    3. Unless item is recived defective or there is manufacturer recall of the item, for health and safety and hygine reason(s), any wearbles (such as watches, rings, bangles etc.), mediactions, costmetics and beauty products, jewellaries can not be refunded or exhanged once the item has been opened or packaging seal has been broken.
  5. Defective Products:

  6. If you believe you have received a defective product, please contact us immediately. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if your product is faulty and you return it within 30 days of receipt. After 30 days, but within six months, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. Only if those options are not possible, or are disproportionate, can you claim a refund.

  7. How to Return:

    1. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. You'll need folowing information:
      • Your order number and date - which is found on your invoice, receipt and notification emails.
      • Item Name and Item Code - Found on Delivery Note or Order Confirmation Emails or On invoice.
      • Fault Details including any images, video evidence.
    2. Create a Return Notification by visiting https://perfumegold.co.uk/index.php?route=account/return/add
    3. Pack the items securely in the original packaging along with the return form.
    4. Label your package with the return address provided by our customer service team.
    5. Use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  8. Refunds (if applicable)

    1. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 3 - 7 working days. Please bear in mind that, your bank or card issuer may take some additional amount of time to process the transaction.
    2. A re-stocking fee of 3.5% of the item price will be deducted for all opened, non-pristine items.
    3. In all cases, original cost of postage will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  9. Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

  10. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some aditional processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at customer-service@perfumegold.co.uk, call us on +44 (0) 207 193 9990 or contact us.

  11. Exchanges (if applicable)

    1. Provided clause 3.3 is satisfied, We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customer-service@perfumegold.co.uk and send your item to the return address provided by our customer service team.
    2. If the same item is not available, at our descretion, we may offer you an alternative item
    3. If value of the alternative item offered is cheaper you'll NOT be entitle to the refund, also, if the value is higher, we may not charge you either.
    4. If any charges applicable related to exchsange of an item, we will inform you before hand and you have SEVEN working days to decide to either accept or reject the offer.
    5. If you reject our offer of alternative item and it's associated cost (if any), we may refund the original cost of the item with deduction of shipping cost.
  12. Shipping Costs

  13. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

  15. Our exchange and return policy complies with the relevant UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of service and consumer rights.

  19. PerfumeGold UK reserves the right to amend this returns and exchanges policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Changes to our policy will become effective on the date they are posted and will apply to all orders from that date forward.
